This Sonic Sundays we present the sounds of Sicilian folk with Scupriri

Enjoy free live music played by a variety of talented performers with Sonic Sundays. Presented each Sunday by the FunHaus Factory in Gosford.

Scupriri are a Sicilian folk ensemble based in Sydney. Throughout its history, Sicily has been occupied by various major empires of the region and further afield. The legacy of a rich and diverse culture and language. It is their joy to share the rich and diverse culture of Sicily through its folk songs, stories and language. 

You will be entertained with traditional Sicilian tarantellas and serenatis in traditional Sicilian dress, with traditional Sicilian instruments such as the Maranzano and Tamburello. Scupriri are a 7 piece band of vocals, violin, double bass, accordion, guitar and percussion.

Enjoy delicious burgers, empanadas and street food from Beau’s Burgers as you take in the atmosphere and enjoy a cocktail (or mocktail).
