Liam Sparrow-Gange's absurd solo sketch/stand-up show 'Little Video Shop of Horrors' returns for a 1 night only live recording!
See the show that literally brought the house down at this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival and be a part of the show's taping.
Little Video Shop of Horrors is an alternative comedy show that lampoons and celebrates classic Australian television. Featuring outlandish characters, a deep dive into one's relationship with media, original music by William-John and some special surprises that is guaranteed to send you on a journey of nostalgia.
Liam is on a quest to find a lost televised program from his youth that only he remembers. He calls searching for it a hobby, while others would call it an obsession. Liam has collected 301 VHS so far on his quest and has broken into multiple abandoned video stores. Sadly none of the tapes he collected nor the properties he's trespassed on had contained the show he was searching for. That is until last week... Liam believes he has finally found the tape that may hold the show of his dreams and he's ready to show it to the world. But is this too good to be true? What is actually on this tape? And is Liam feeding his VCR human blood? Most of these questions will be answered during the show, so all you gotta do is watch it.
"Liam’s showmanship is evident, and he brings slick production design
to boot. This mix between theatre and comedy and essay is exactly the
sort of innovative and playful comedy we need more of." Reviewed by Ryan Hamilton (Funny Tonne).
"An incredibly unique experience of a comedy show, both in its content and delivery. ‘Little Video Shop Of Horrors’ is a great treat for any audience members" Reviewed by Hugging Comedians
