The 2023 South East Business Conference (SEBC) is bringing together eight Local Government Areas that form Greater South East Region (GSEM) through local chambers of commerce and business group. This event will gather 250 businesses to address the future needs of the region.

GSEM currently produces $90 billion in gross regional product and generates 470,000 local jobs. However, employment growth in GSEM is not keeping pace with population growth, which is causing congestion issues and inadequate services.

Themed Towards 2050, SEBC aims to connect and advocate the South East as Australia’s future business hub.

Uniting forces will stimulate stronger economic growth; promote cross-sector connectivity; drive innovation and boost employment opportunities through a vibrant and healthy ecosystem.
