Event description

LIVING + LEADING WELL is a five-week online retreat style program dedicated to REST and RESTORATION.

This award winning program was developed in response to the alarming rates of burnout in the social and community sector and has been designed for leaders and managers who are LOSING THEIR MOJO or feel OVERWHELMED or CONCERNED about work related STRESS, FATIGUE or BURNOUT.

One of the biggest barriers to preventing work related stress and burnout is space and time, and this program is designed for busy people to create space for wellbeing.

Each week we retreat online for two-hours to REST, RESTORE and EXPLORE one of the five essentials for living and leading well, including

Week 1. Restoring BALANCE + ENERGY, to live well. 
Week 2. Exploring MINDSET + MINDFULNESS for wellbeing,
Week 3. Establishing SELF CARE + WELLNESS ROUTINES,
Week 4. Building STRENGTH + RESILIENCE through challenging times,
Week 5. STAYING CONNECTED to our personal support network.

Based on the latest wellbeing evidence, each two-hour session includes a unique combination of reflection based learning experiences, easy access meditation and mindfulness practice, and resilience building tools, with BONUS between session worksheets.

About the Facilitator:

Meagan Shand is an award-winning Wellbeing Specialist, with 25 years experience working in the social and community sector. 

She knows how to manage 'challenge and change' well and has received a number of awards for her leadership, including a Centenary Medal of Australia, and a Making a Difference award.

Meagan holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Masters of Social Science, her thesis focused on understanding and building resilience and she remains curious about what helps people and communities flourish and thrive. 

Meagan started the LIVING + LEADING WELL program in October 2021 in response to the alarming rates of burnout in the social and community sector. 

Meagan lives with disability and is committed to creating easy access wellness experiences that everybody can enjoy.
