Surf & Sea: Learn and Explore
As part of our Living Landscapes project, the Denmark Environment Centre invites you to join local Surf Instructor Merome Darvill and Marine Biology student Sonny Lewis for a hands on ocean experience. Learn about the marine environment, waves, and coastal ecosystems, then take to the water for a surf lesson to build your skills and confidence.

Itinerary
9:00 – 10:00 AM | Ocean Environmental Yarn & Beach Clean-up
Learn about the marine environment, local coastal ecosystems, and the importance of protecting our oceans, followed by a hands-on beach clean-up.
10:00 – 12:00 PM | Surf Lesson
Get in the water for a surf lesson, learning the basics of surfing and building your confidence in the waves.
