Living Landscapes Djilba Paddle and Hike
Event description
As part of our Living Landscapes Djilba Series, the Denmark Environment Centre invites you to step into the Walpole Wilderness for a unique eco-adventure with Emma Bennet from the WOW Wilderness team and local guide Tim Gamblin.
This special day combines hiking and packrafting, offering two perspectives on one of the most spectacular and ancient landscapes in the Great Southern.
We’ll begin beneath the towering karri and tingle trees, walking a section of the iconic Bibbulmun Track before taking to the water in packrafts on the Frankland River. Along the way, you’ll gain new skills, build confidence in the outdoors, and learn simple ways to reduce your impact while exploring wild places.
Why join?
Experience the Walpole Wilderness on foot and by water.
Connect with knowledgeable local guides who share stories of land, water, and wildlife.
Build confidence and awareness of how to explore nature responsibly.
