Living Landscapes Student Workshop: Bridging Wildlife Health, Human Impact and Community Voices

The 2025 CANUSA Student Workshop will be held from July 23-26, 2025 in both Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada prior to the WDA International Conference the following week. This workshop will provide students with a hands-on experience learning about wildlife health and conservation within the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Students will experience behind-the-scenes tours of the Vancouver Aquarium and Marine Mammal Rescue Centre, practice chemical immobilization techniques, explore innovative strategies to manage wildlife populations, grow new relationships with the land through an ethnobotany walk and gain useful professional development skills. To generate interest leading up to the workshop, WDA CANUSA is hosting free bi-monthly webinars featuring scientists and veterinarians committed to safeguarding the biodiversity of the Pacific Northwest. Please join us for a special workshop focused on the development of the next generation of wildlife professionals!

One day registration options $75 USD per day: includes all activities and meals for that day of the workshop
