Living Library : Stephanie Vaughn & Grace Russell @ Busselton Library
Event description
Join us for a powerful and inspiring evening featuring two remarkable “Living Books”:
✨ Stephanie Vaughn – Half Him Half Her
Born intersex in 1961 Yorkshire and unaware of her true identity for over five decades, Stephanie’s story is one of courage, discovery, and authenticity. Her memoir Half Him Half Her shares her extraordinary journey from a childhood lived under secrecy to her transition and new life in Western Australia.
🐋 Grace Russell – Whales, Wonders, and the Call of the Ocean
Imagine spending your days discovering the wonders of whales — following pods, uncovering their secrets, and filming documentaries that share their stories with the world. Some of those documentaries were even filmed right here in Busselton for a David Attenborough production like Ocean! For Grace, this isn’t just a job — it’s a calling, a passion, and a lifelong connection to the sea.
Come along for an evening of courage, curiosity, and connection as we celebrate stories of identity, purpose, and pride.
