Event description

🐾 Living with Wildlife: Balancing Nature and Neighbourhood

Are possums raiding your fruit trees? Or maybe native swamp rats have made themselves a little too comfortable in your garden? 🌳 While living alongside native wildlife is a privilege, it can sometimes lead to challenges.

Join James Smith, award-winning author and founder of fauNature, for an insightful session on coexisting peacefully with our native wildlife. James, a recent recipient of the SA Environment’s Pelzer Prize, will share his expert knowledge and practical tips to help you navigate those tricky human-wildlife interactions.

In this session, you’ll learn:

🌿 How to manage common challenges with local wildlife
🐾 Ways to protect your garden while supporting biodiversity
🌱 Tips for fostering harmony between your home and nature

To ensure the presentation addresses the issues that matter most to you, we invite you to submit a question when you register. Be sure to send it in by mid-February to give James time to tailor his advice. You can also contact us on info@secondndature.org.au

Don’t miss this chance to learn from one of South Australia’s leading wildlife experts. Let’s work together to find practical, sustainable solutions for living in harmony with nature! 🌏
