headspace Onkaparinga in partnership with Department of Human Services Families Growing Strong Together Program are offering a FREE 3-part workshop for parents/guardians caring for teenagers/adolescents.

The teen years bring a new stage of development for a young person and many changes for the whole family…..

The Living with Young People is a FREE 3-part workshop for parents and caregivers to help build an understanding of teenagers/adolescents and their healthy development.

Based on the latest parenting research, the workshops include:

  • Understanding teen/adolescent development
  • Supporting communication between parents/caregivers and teens
  • Strategies to handle conflict and
  • Positive approaches to guiding behaviours

Attendees must attend all 3 workshops on the following dates:

Monday, 22nd July 2024, 5:00-7:00pm

Monday, 29th July 2024, 5:00-7:00pm and

Monday, 5th August 2024, 5:00-7:00pm

Light Refreshments available. Bookings essential.
