Living World – Deep Listening and Singing Circle

Living World – Inspiring Environmental Stewardship in the City of Yarra

You are invited to participate in Living World, an Eco Arts project coordinated by Community Music Victoria and supported by the City of Yarra. The project is designed to promote ecological awareness and action and to strengthen community connections through the Arts. An interdisciplinary team of singing leaders, musicians and Eco Artists will facilitate the project including Laura Brearley, Simon Kerr, Nicki Johnson, Craig Barrie and others. 

People of all ages, cultures and abilities are warmly welcome.

Deep Listening and Singing Circle
2.30pm-4.30pm Sunday 30th June 2024
Bagung Magali Community Room, Bargoonga Nganjin/North Fitzroy Library

Project participants will be invited to experience Deep Listening as a way of being together, with a particular focus on living water ways as places of connection between people, land, sky and the wider Living World. The Circles will include community singing, an exploration of Deep Listening practice and Eco Arts collaborations in the form of collective poetry and song-writing.
