Liz Stringer returns to Katherine join forces for a special double bill at the stunning Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre (GYRACC) in Katherine on Saturday, November 1.
As part of her national To Survive Tour, celebrated Australian songwriter Liz Stringer is bringing her powerful live presence to GYRACC, to mark the release of her seventh studio album The Second High. With special guest Alice Cotton.
The album is rooted in jazz, funk, pop and soul, harking back to Stringer’s early musical grounding and sees her return to the piano, her formative instrument.
Liz and Alice are proud to be partnering with Katherine Women's Crisis Centre for this show, who provide vital crisis accommodation and support services to women and children escaping domestic and family violence across the Katherine region. Audience members will be given the opportunity to donate to KWCC on the night using QR codes set up around the venue.
Doors open 6:30PM. Performance begins 7PM.
