Event description

Join local author Katie Brown as she discusses her children's book, The Relaxation Rainbow: guided visualisations for children.

There’s something magical about rainbows – and especially The Relaxation Rainbow! This is a colourful journey that takes the reader and child on a series of imaginative adventures… evoking a sense of calm and promoting a range of positive emotions – from resilience and hope, through to optimism and empathy.

Each Guided Relaxation is associated with a colour of the rainbow, using colour therapy, yoga and simple breathwork. This colourful book is a treat for the eyes, mind, body and soul – the ultimate bedtime reading and the perfect way to send your children (and possibly you!) into a beautiful dream-filled sleep.

Enjoy a discussion with Katie, including some guided relaxation and simple yoga moves in this session.

Books will be available for purchase on the day. Payment via card transaction and cash.

Free, bookings required.

Refreshments on arrival.
