Join local author Lisette Coates reading her picture book A Monster In The Bush, for children ages 3 to 6.
Nature Nettie is Lisette’s alter ego. She is green and blue, a nature superhero. Enviro Ted, Nettie’s sidekick, is based on the small teddy she had as a child that used to go with her wherever she went. Together, Nature Nettie and Enviro Ted are quick to help out whenever help is needed.
The First in the Nature Nettie and Enviro Ted Series - A Monster in the Bush teaches children that littering the bush is not a good way to care for the environment.
The reading will be followed by a craft activity for the children to make their own litter monster.
Free, bookings required.
Aimed at children aged 3 to 6, accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Books will be available to purchase at the event via card payments only.
Lisette Coates is the author and illustrator of the book series Nature Nettie and Enviro Ted. As a child, Lisette always wanted to have superpowers that allowed her to fly like a bird, swim underwater like seals, and talk and understand what all the animals were saying. Nature Nettie is Lisette’s alter ego.
