Description

Join science journalist and author Lynne Malcolm as she discusses her latest book, All In The Mind.

Understanding the human mind remains one of the most alluring challenges we face. Now pioneering investigations and technologies are enabling science to gain new insights into the complexity of the brain. Science journalist and longstanding host of ABC Radio National’s ‘All in the Mind’, Lynne Malcolm, takes us on a fascinating journey of understanding the brain, its ability to change and adapt, as well as the connections between its biology and the mind, individual experience and behaviour.

The book contains stories about consciousness, perception, sleep, dreaming and hallucinations; memory, identity, creativity and the mind-body connection; and mental illness and recovery. All In the Mind will change the way you think about the brain, the mind and our inherent potential.

Books will be available for purchase on the day.

$5 + booking fee, bookings required.

Tea & coffee on arrival.
