Welcome to the Local Walks App Launch!
Join us as we officially launch the Local Walks App in Camden on Saturday, 17 October from 10am-1pm. The free app helps you find local walking routes, explore green spaces and discover attractions along the way. Download the app to make walking an easy and fun part of your day.
Come along, discover what Camden has to offer, connect with your community, and celebrate the launch of a new app designed to help you walk more, explore more and enjoy the outdoors. 🌿👟☀️
What to Expect
As part of Camden Active Month, this free community event will give you the opportunity to download and try the app for yourself while enjoying a range of fun, family-friendly activities. Using a passport-style challenge, complete activities to earn stamps and go into the draw for prizes and giveaways!
Activities include:
Downloading and exploring the Local Walks App
Walking the Miss Llewella Davies route using the app
Participating in a photo scavenger hunt
Making your own fruit smoothies with a Bike & Blend activity
Sharing your favourite local walking spots
Contributing to our community "Why I Walk" display
Spin & Win - spin the wheel, answer a question
Meeting local organisations that support healthy and active lifestyles
Be one of the first 50 finishers of the scavengar hunt and receive a free Local Walks goodie bag!
You can download the Local Walks App before the event so you're ready to start as soon as you arrive.
