Locus FME Roadshow 2025 - Wellington Event
Event description
Join the biggest gathering of FME users in New Zealand at the Locus FME Roadshow 2025!
For our Wellington event this year we're changing things up and introducing a morning of learning followed by an afternoon conference format. Here's what you can look forward to:
Morning: FME Skill Builder | 9.30am - 12.30pm
Kick off the day with a practical, hands-on training session designed to help FME users of all levels understand and build their own API using FME.
In this 3-hour guided session, you’ll learn how to turn your data or workflows into secure API services using FME Data Virtualization, perfect for exposing data, integrating with other systems or enabling standardised API access across your organisation and externally.
In this session, you will:
Create and manage REST APIs using FME Flow Data Virtualization without writing any code
Learn to secure, authenticate and test your endpoints using API tokens, basic authentication and input templates
Gain hands-on experience with schema creation, parameter handling and updating live endpoints in real time
Master best practices for organising, validating and deploying flexible API-powered workflows
Who should attend?
This session is ideal for anyone working with FME who wants to learn how to expose their data or workflows as APIs. No programming experience is required, but you will get the most from the session if you have:
