CALIXTO OVIEDO TRIO

Calixto Oviedo is a Latin Grammy nominated artist and renowned Cuban percussionist with a career spanning over 38 years. He began playing drums as a child and honed his skills at Cuba's National High School of the Arts.  

Oviedo has performed with numerous internationally acclaimed musicians, including Paquito D'Rivera, Arturo Sandoval, and Gonzalo Rubalcaba. He was a founding member of the popular Cuban band Adalberto y Su Son and later joined N.G. La Banda, a group known for its innovative "Timba" style.  

Oviedo has toured extensively worldwide and has recorded numerous albums.
