    Event description

🎉 Mark your calendars for our next LSN event on Thursday the 14th of November. Come and meet other people interested in Synthetic Biology from academia and industry.

📢 This session will be a slightly different one from previous ones - We will have a balance of speakers from industry and academia, giving us some insight on the career progression of going into a start-up/industry after academia! As usual, we will have 2x20 mins talks, followed by networking over drinks and snacks:

🧬 Building a purpose driven biotech business in a capitalist world
Dr. Michael Crone (Full Circle, Imperial College)

🦠 Investigating the Potential of Division of Labour in Synthetic Bacterial Communities for Bioproduction
Harman Mehta (Ledesma-Amaro Lab, Imperial College)

📍Location and time: 14th of November at 17:45, Blackett Lecture Theatre, Imperial College London, South Kensington Campus, SW7 2AZ. (See this link to see how to get there). The event has step-fee access and is open to anyone, but please register so reception has your details.

🧬 London SynBio Network is organised by Early Career Researchers and hosts monthly meetups to bring Synbio folks from academia and industry together, providing an informal space to share ideas and ask for advice.
