    Event description

The Regional Business Women's Collective Inc. is proud to be hosting our annual fundraiser event in support of Ovis Community Services.

This year, we are partnering with Redgum Wine Estate, a stunning venue located in Teesdale, just 30 minutes from Mandurah.

Newly opened in December 2023, the venue has been described as "a perfect blend of farmhouse charm and modern luxury on the edge of the picturesque Darling Escarpment". Owner, Maree Lawson, has curated a delicious menu that showcases local produce and food producers.

    Your ticket includes:

    • 2 course meal
    • Welcome drink on arrival

50% of the ticket price is being donated to Ovis and there will be more opportunities to donate during the lunch, with a number of raffle prizes on offer.

We also have City of Mandurah Councillor and our local ambassador for kindness, Amber Kearns, as our keynote speaker. Amber's story is one of resilience and success, a story that we know will resonate for many.

    ABOUT AMBER KEARNS

Through lived experience and her professional career, Cr Kearns is acutely aware of the multifaceted issues arising from generational trauma, addiction, and the poverty cycle.

Cr Kearns continues to share her experience as a voluntary board member for several local support agencies including Allambee Counselling, Peel Community Kitchen and WestAus Crisis & Welfare Services.

Additionally, as a School Chaplain at Mandurah Primary School and an active board member for Greenfields Primary School and John Tonkin College, Cr Kearns continues to work collaboratively with our education community to see positive outcomes for our youth.

As a wife of a local business owner, and a proud mum of three children, Cr Kearns is committed to supporting families with a focus on community safety. Cr Kearns is driven to empower, equip and motivate the youth of Mandurah to have equal access to opportunity while also having a firm sense of belonging through positive social engagement.
