Social Script: Information about the event format

Event format: The long table discussion will include short talks from invited artists/natural dye practitioners, and a guided discussion amongst the group of people who attend the event. What to expect: When you enter the event space, you can add any natural dye samples/journals/artefacts you bring with you to the long table, where they will be displayed. You will be able to look at and touch anything on the long table. You will then choose a seat at the long table. Everyone who attends will sit around the long table. The event organisers will guide a discussion about natural dye plants and creative processes. You will participate by listening. When invited, you can also choose to participate by sharing some of your experiences, stories, and information about the natural dye samples/journals/artefacts you bring with you. As a shared group discussion, there may not be time for you to speak about everything that you bring in depth. At the end of the event you can take your natural dye samples/journals/artefacts home with you.

Sensory information

The event will be seated around a long table, and if you need to move your body, you will be able to stand and walk around the table or move in the event space.
