Longboard clinic w/ Kai Ellice-Flint (Women and Jrs)

At this year’s NSW State Longboard Titles, Kai will be leading a special activation focused on engaging kids and women in the art of longboarding. Drawing from his decades of experience, he’ll offer technical coaching, competitive insights, and mentorship—aimed at cultivating a higher standard of surfing and inspiring the next generation to find confidence and style in the water.

We are taking donations to support those affected by the recent floods in the region.
The class is generously offered by Kai Ellice-Flint as part of the Surfing NSW VW Classic surfing state titles.
ABOUT YOUR COACH: KAI ELLICE-FLINT
Kai is a Byron Bay–based surfer and surfboard craftsman whose deep connection to the ocean has shaped his life and career. Now 29 years old, Kai has been surfing for over 25 years, with 20 of those spent competing at a high level—including winning the Australian Under-18 Longboard Title. His style is rooted in tradition, yet progressive in execution, reflecting his commitment to both performance and aesthetic.
Alongside his competitive journey, Kai is a respected surfboard manufacturer known for his hands-on approach to design and shaping. His knowledge of surfboards has come from many years spent working with respected labels like CRÈME/GATO HEROI, Keyo Surfboards, Donald Takayama surfboards and North Coast Surfboards reflecting a deep understanding of form, function, and flow.
