Loony Music & Poetry Jam
Description
Sip wine among the vines, vibe with the mushroom farm, and read a silly poem or three. The mic is open!
Our team moved from San Diego to Smartsville exactly one year ago. Back in San Diego, Jake (our lead mycologist), would pop out the microphone monthly and jam out while community members came by our ranch to play along and read poems. It was our favorite event there, and we'd like to bring elements of it to our new home.
Please join us at our vineyard and mushroom farm as we finally settle into our new home ๐ป
FAQs
- Is it free?
Yup ๐ค
- What will you be pouring?
We'll be selling glasses and bottles of mead alongside legacy wines made by the previous land stewards. Our new afrodynamic wines are completing fermentation and aging in our facility.
- Where are you located?
We are located immediately off Hwy 20, next door to Calfire Station 40. You should see our road signs if you're driving west from Grass Valley, Penn Valley, or Nevada City.
- Are kids allowed?
Yes, bring the hooligans!
- Are dogs allowed?
No. We have four dogs that live on the farm, and we'd rather not have the worry about pack dynamics.
- Do I have to leave right away?
Folks are welcome to camp on the farm with us. Reach out, and we can coordinate logistics via Hipcamp.
