This Christmas learn how to make your own beauty and skincare products using natural ingredients and reusing jars from home in this hands-on workshop. Learn about how to create a sustainable beauty gifts.

This is a great way to go easy on the environment and create gorgeous potions and lotions, at the same time.

You will learn everything you need to know about DIY skincare in this fun and hands-on workshop!

We teach:

Body Scrubs
Face Scrubs
Face Masks
Bath Bombs
Lip Balms
Body Butters

All participants need to bring 6 empty containers (jars and bottles) to keep their potions and lotions in.

The ReCreators runs DIY upcycling woodworking, gardening, and upcycling wānanga/workshops for tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau across Tāmaki Makaurau and the Waikato. From school holiday programmes to community māra/garden sessions and maker workshops, we turn reclaimed materials into practical skills, creative confidence, and a stronger sense of nga hapori/community. Whether you’re a school looking for a hands-on community visit, a whānau searching for free things to do these holidays, or a local board partner, we’d love to have you along.
