Loud, Proud and Here: Women Who Rise - Women's Giving Circle with Mandy Nolan
Description
Loud, Proud and Here: Women Who Rise
Women across our region already carry powerful ideas, lived experience and leadership. Yet public speaking can still feel daunting; not because women have nothing to say, but because many have been conditioned to stay quiet, avoid disruption and believe they must be perfect before stepping forward.
The world needs to hear the voices of women as they are: informed, passionate, imperfect and real.
Mandy Nolan has been a comedian, political candidate and public speaker for more than three decades. Her passion is helping women develop the tools and confidence to step forward, share their ideas and claim public space.
Presented by the NRCF Women’s Giving Circle, Loud, Proud and Here: Women Who Rise is a one-day workshop for up to 12 women who have a mission, message or story they are ready to share more powerfully.
Mandy will guide participants through the foundations of preparing and delivering a talk, while helping them transform nerves into energy and presence. The aim is to help women approach opportunities to speak with greater confidence, authenticity and joy.
The workshop will be followed by a warm and supportive presentation evening, where participants can share what they have developed with an invited audience.
Workshop: Saturday 28 November, 9:00am - 4:00pm at Sugar Beach Ranch, South Ballina
Presentation: Monday 30 November, 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Newrybar Community Hall
