Louise Jenkins is an artist with over 30 years creative experience.
She enjoys the freedom associated with different mediums and works with charcoal, pastel, watercolour, acrylic, mixed media and ceramics. Likewise, a variety of subject matter and indeed subject treatment is essential. She works happily in abstract and realistic realms, in response to landscapes, animals, portraits and more abstract concepts. A reflection of her own perception, Louiseās artwork is in essence completed when it resonates with the experience and perception of the viewer.
She exhibits regularly in locally held group exhibitions and competitions. Her artwork has been acquired by the Tenterfield Shire, twice, and in private collections around our country and the globe. Louise is a member of the Borderline Regional Arts Association, Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery, and Stanthorpe Pottery Club, and is a consignor at the Artists Collective Gallery in Tenterfield. She also run art workshops for Granite Belt Support Services.
