Castlemaine Fringe: Love Letters to Harcourt & Leanganook
Description
A little time to reflect. A few words from the heart. A poem, a memory or a picture.
Love Letters to Harcourt & Leanganook is a community arts project funded by FRRR to support community recovery from the 2026 bushfires through creativity, connection and reflection.
Join us for a relaxed, supported creative writing workshop with a experienced facilitator Shannyn Palmer. Share what you love about Harcourt and Leanganook through letters, poems, stories, drawings or memories.
You don't need to be a writer or an artist – just bring a memory, a feeling or a few words. There's no pressure to share anything you're not comfortable with. This 2 hour workshop will be followed by a light supper care of Harcourt CWA.
Your contributions will help create a public installation artwork in Harcourt, for the Castlemaine Fringe Festival in April 2027.
Everyone with a connection to Harcourt is welcome, although with limited placs we ask to give priority to those living in Harcourt and Barkers Creek. A postal patheay is being established for cntributions from those living further afield.
This is a supportive creative space for reflection and connection, rather than a therapeutic or counselling session.
Come as you are. Every contribution is welcome.
