For more details on their situation check out their fundraiser page!

If there’s one thing I’m good at it’s loving myself and it hasn’t always been that way:

I was once filled with self - hatred, self abandon and anxiety. I never felt like I was good enough no matter how hard I tried to please people. So what changed? Therapy, somatic tools, self love practices and rituals that leave me feeling so connected and loving towards myself that I’m able to sit with the darker parts and accept them. Ru Paul doesn’t say ‘if you don’t love yourself how in the hell are you gonna love somebody else’ for nothing!

If you want beautiful relationships you need to bring love to yourself and fill your own cup.

I really believe that your ability to love yourself is a reflection of how deeply you can love another, so whether you are looking for love or want to connect with parts of you that need some love come to Love Letters. It’s a chance to write to yourself from the heart and have it read back to you.

You’ll be guided into your heart through cacao, meditation and breathing, we’ll write together, share, reflect and finish with a celebratory dance.

FAQs

  • Do I need a partner?

No! A partner isn't necessary for this workshop, though you are very welcome to bring one to share the experience with each other! All experiences are designed to be accessible for solo participants.

  • What's with your sliding scale pricing?

We have added a pay-what-you-can/want ticket - to help support the community and those who may not be able to afford the full price ticket, this is an option where you can pay what you can from a minimum limit. There is no upper limit on this ticket, so if you feel like subsidising those who purchase lower priced tickets, or giving a little extra to the facilitator to support us, this is your option!

We believe in both accessibility for the community, as well as making sure our facilitators are paid appropriately for their erotic / intellectual labours, so this is our solution to hold space for both with a minimum of fuss!

Enjoy this social experiment, and we'd love your feedback.
