Travel instructions

Parking will be inside the Matanginui gate, approx 400m up the road from 180 Okaihau Road. The ground may be muddy and is uneven, so please consider car pooling and using a vehicle suitable for the terrain and weather.

Hazards

The area where we will be planting may be cold (in the shade) and the entire venue area is steep in places with uneven ground / vegetation. Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear. There will be a guided tour available to hike to the top of Matanginui. The track can be steep, uneven and narrow in places (it is a farm animal track) and is unfenced. If you choose to ascend to the top of the Matanginui, you will need to ensure the safety of yourself and everyone that you registered with you.
