Zine Launch and Poetry night!!!
returning for the 4th time and launching their 2nd zine, the Slamtidote poetry community aims to raise attention to the calibre of ethnic, queer, and femme literature that is locally available, right under your nose!
aiming to put the "Lit in Literature", the vibrant energy of a Slamtidote night is unmatched. While the poetry open mic with music accompaniment ties the night together, it's a night full of buzzing emotion and new friendships made, it's always not to be missed.
Submissions for the zine close on the 14th of May, and for the event, there won't be any tickets available at the door.
the location in East Brunswick will only be revealed once you reserve a spot, Slamtidote values the privacy of their art and community above anyone else.
A raffle will be held on the night, fundraising for White Ribbon Australia, taking a stance for womens rights and safety, within the community, and beyond.
