Fashion Parade Fundraiser by Loved and Found
Description
Forget supermodels. Forget fast fashion. Forget everything you think a fashion parade should be.
Frocktober is bringing fashion to the Thirsty Crow Brewery and the catwalk is going to be anything but predictable.
On Thursday 29 October, join us for a gloriously eclectic night of second-hand fashion, fabulous folk and a whole lot of fun, raising money for two great causes:
Ovarian cancer research
Loved and Found Wagga’s brand-new community op shop, opening soon and creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone.
Why ovarian cancer research matters
Ovarian cancer is often called the “silent” cancer, because its symptoms can be vague and easily mistaken for other conditions. There is currently no reliable screening test for women who are at average risk, which means research is vital to improve early detection, develop better treatments, and ultimately give more women a better chance of surviving the disease.
Every dollar raised through Froktober will help support that work.
And because this isn't your average fashion parade…
Local celebrities on the catwalk - expect the unexpected
Shop Loved and Found before the shop even opens

Come for the fashion.
Stay for the fun.
Leave with something fabulous and know you've helped support ovarian cancer research and a new community venture
There’s nothing fashionable about ovarian cancer. But there is something powerful about funding the research that could change its future.
NB: Money from clothing sales will go to Love and Found, all other money raised will support the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation
