Loving Embodiment: Cultivating Self-Acceptance and Body Connection
Event description
So many of us are disconnected from our bodies and the wisdom they hold. We are practiced at judging and even hating our bodies, but not in offering compassion, love, and curiosity towards them.
Our bodies are multi-faceted, and bridge us between the worlds of the physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional. Everything that happens inside of our lives, happens within this vessel.
After 15 years of working as a bodyworker, I can say that I am in awe of what I encounter each and every day. The reverence I have for bodies is supreme. One of my greatest passions is helping people realign and reconnect with their bodies, igniting a sense of gratitude, trust, and reverence.
In this class we will:
*Talk about the 4 primary components for growing the foundation of a healthy, trusting relationship with your body.
*Practice the experience of loving-embodiment, tracking our bodies, and listening to what they might be sharing.
These principles and practices have been so incredibly powerful for me in transforming the relationship I have with my body, from one of frustration and pain, to one of compassion, grace, and understanding. And I'm so excited to share them with you.
This work of cultivating embodied self-love is also so much more impactful than solely our own healing.
I strongly feel that the way we treat the earth is a mirror of how we collectively treat our bodies. How we inflict pain and wounding onto the earth externally is directly correlated to how we treat our own selves internally.
Humanity’s relationship with the earth cannot heal without us doing our own personal work. This is one of the first
steps.
*This is a free intro class for my upcoming program, The Golden Stone Immersion. So I will share details about this
program at the end for those interested in going deeper.*
MEET THE FACILITATOR:
Amy serves highly sensitive earth-lovers on their healing journey to re-connect with themselves and the magic of the Earth.
"The work I do is based on a foundation of years of practice intuitively listening to messages from plants, the natural world, the body and energy field. Everything is made of energy, and therefore all healing must include working at the energetic level to be effective." - Amy
Amy Terepka, founder of Groundwater Healing and the Golden Stone Wisdom School, is an experienced bodyworker, energy healer, and plant medicine practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the healing arts.
She has a deep understanding of the connection between the body, mind, and spirit, and has completed extensive training in Bodywork, Energy Medicine, Earth Medicine, and Plant Spirit Medicine.
Amy is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their bodies and the Earth, and offers a unique, holistic approach to healing, which includes an embodied approach to spiritual medicine.
Her practice focuses on helping you heal disconnection in order to stand fully and proudly in your body with a sense of ease, peace, and empowerment. She believes healing comes from a deep knowing of the self, aligned with connection to the wider forces of Life.
All of her offerings are designed with these principles in mind: that our bodies are wise and are always doing their
best for us, the healing power of ritual, reverence and reciprocity for the Earth, animism and the sentience of
plants, stones, and nature, that there is an allyship between mind, body, and spirit, and that mindfulness and
intentional connection go a long way in healing.
