Loving Touch - Through The Physical
Event description
Many of us don’t realise how deeply our lives are shaped by touch.
From our earliest years, we co-regulate with caregivers through being held, long before we learn how to self-soothe. Voice, gaze, hormones - all influence our wellbeing - yet few things are as powerful as human touch.
As adults, we can lose connection with this vital nourishment. In safe, intentional spaces, we can re-open to it - emotionally, mentally, and physically. Thanks to neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to rewire through new experiences, it’s possible to reshape how we give and receive touch at any stage of life.
In this gathering, we’ll explore touch through many lenses - relational, elemental, and archetypal. You’ll be invited into a space where you are grounded yet relaxed, open yet alert. A space where touch becomes more than physical - a language of connection that nourishes both self and community.
For some, this experience is like rain in the desert.
