•ABOUT THE ARTISTS•

-ABELATION-

Abelation is the mythical brainchild, Reese Downes. A young music prodigy in the making, at the age of 13 Reese took an early interest in music. At 15 he was introduced to electronic music by his 3 older brothers. Taking inspiration from artist like Tsuruda and Dr.Derg, Reese started to dig deep well beyond the conventional style of music. Armed with the knowledge of piano, basic sound theory, a Macbook pro, and a wild imagination, Reese began to create what feels like a journey into space. Presenting what some would call a “Dub style bass with trap influenced drums,” 2018 saw the successful release of his debut Album entitled, “Pulse,” featuring collabs with Lost Dogz brothers Eazybaked and Milano.

-SHANGHAI DOOM-

Shanghai Doom is a rising experimental bass duo hailing from Central Jersey. Since their start in 2017, the duo has found their inspiration within the more sinister things in life, dipping into many different sounds and styles to create their masterfully blended dark tones and heavy basslines. Shanghai Doom has established their unique niche within the electronic music community and are dominating it.

Their standout style has gained them support from artists like Liquid Stranger, Mr. Carmack, and TYNAN, with releases on WAKAAN, Bassrush, and Wormhole. Their undeniable ability to create ghastly atmospheres with intricate and polished sound design landed them in direct support of LSDream and Shlump on the Universal Wub Tour, and on the stages of festivals such as WAKAAN Festival, Home Bass WAKAAN Takeover, and Equinox Festival.

Shanghai Doom’s unique approach to sound is one they look forward to creating and sharing with us for years to come.

-SHARLITZ WEB-

Fueled by the pain and beauty of all that life has to offer, Sharlitz Web enters the scene to influence the spread of deeper love through deeper venomous freakquencies. Tangling listeners into her web of liquid basses, dark melodies, and hybrid beats, Sharlitz Web transforms low, heartfelt frequencies into supernatural vibrations.

To step into her artistic identity, Sharlitz Web channeled the person she loved the most as an ode to her spirit: Sharlitz Web tragically lost her best friend and little sister, Charlotte. But like a phoenix, she rose up from the ashes and used her pain as inspiration for her musical identity — thus, Sharlitz Web was born. Calling upon her early musical talents playing the flute and experimenting with sounds across the genre spectrum, Sharlitz Web brings a fresh perspective to electronic music.

Once you’re caught in Sharlitz Web, you’ll never want to escape. The enigmatic producer has established herself through searing original productions like “7 sins” and “deep dreams,” conjuring a haunting atmosphere through nothing but her own deep, dark soul. Representing the next generation of bass music, Sharlitz Web wears the crown of her twisted, beautiful spider web — enter if you dare.

-POP THA TRUNK-

POP THA TRUNK is a Portland based producer serving crisp, distorted bass flows layered with spicy, trap influenced percussion. Blending elements of 140, Neuro, Phonk, and Drum & Bass, POP THA TRUNK has put in countless hours of work and years worth of intention into creating a sound he can truly claim as his own. With a musical background as a drummer, he has an adept sense of rhythm that is outshined only by his ability to weave in and out of the atmospheres his music lives in.

-TSOU-

Tsou's not trying to cram the most aggressive and unexpected elements into his composition, which is a trap far too many fall into in the halftime game. Instead, his music provides a full-figured approach to production, that allows the jarrying, intense climaxes to be held in contrast to lush, moving passages.

While Tsou is a relative newcomer to the game, he has amassed quite a following on SoundCloud. His songs have been far surpassing his reach on the back of quality products and cautious growth. Discovered by the Wormhole collective and then Untz, we're waiting for the broader scene to catch on.

-MIENNE-

Mienne has always been a performance artist. Her involvement in underground dance culture began more than a decade ago, initially as a belly dancer and event producer, where her natural sense of movement and rhythm - and desire to share her artistic passion - translated gracefully into her journey as a DJ. Her Libran love of balance (and variety!) makes her uniquely adept at setting a sonic scene that elicits journeys across desert tundra, through the expansiveness of space, and SPLAT onto a jiggling subwoofer. Whether it’s G-house or West Coast Bass, you can expect to see smiling faces and feel your booty wiggle.

Says Mienne: "I have one goal: make your booties wiggle til you drip with sweat. If you aren't ready for a rump-shakin' good time, bass beats that make you twerk, disco samples you have to sing along, and a whole lot of smiles, stfu what's that all about? Come see me play anyway."

-THE SERIOUS-

Hailing from Portland, The Serious is a DJ and event producer known for his diverse and dynamic sets that seamlessly blend different genres of house music. With years of experience in the scene, The Serious has honed his craft to deliver powerful and unforgettable musical experiences that connect the dance floor and leave everyone wanting more.

His reputation for delivering epic performances has taken him to venues and events all over the West Coast, Canada, and Mexico, including notable appearances at Tectonic SHIFT Festival and the Crystal Groove Art car at Burning Man. Through his production company Bootycorp, The Serious has also produced successful events that showcase his commitment to excitement, connection, and sweat on the dance floor.

With a deep understanding of house music and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, The Serious continues to be a sought-after DJ and event producer, delivering his musical gifts to audiences around the world.

-MARK BRODY-

Mark Brody is a Portland, Oregon native and pioneer in the electronic music scene in the Pacific Northwest. Mark started DJ'ing in Portland nightclubs back in 1987. It was then that he realized sharing music with the world was his calling.

In 1991, Mark started diving into event production, and promoting, and was a part in throwing Portland's first rave/warehouse parties.

Through the passage of time, Mark's music style has evolved into what he sums up as 'GFM' (Good F'in Music) - a semi-psychedelic journey, stopping off in many realms of the house music genre. From the deepest of deep, to tribal tech sounds, with an occasional dash of throwback funk or 80's classics to kick it up. Mark is very much a crowd pleaser and a story teller with his music.

-HUSTLEBERRY-

DJ, father and music lover, Matt Berry (aka Hustleberry) hails from Portland, Oregon. Growing up in St. Louis, Matt Berry fell in love with house and trance music while immersing himself in the 90s rave scene. Forever seeking out the best dance parties, Matt found himself enjoying live performances by some of the world's best DJs in many different places over the years. After Matt moved to Portland in 2017, he started following many of the great and talented local house DJs, which the Pacific Northwest has an abundance of. Matt Berry started trying his hand at live performances while attending Burning Man, as the resident DJ for the Get Toasted theme camp for the past 6 years...and out of the dust, Hustleberry was born. Hustleberry loves to create high energy mixes always with the intentions of filling the dance floor with non-stop movement and freedom that allows the music to flow through every atom in your body, with ease and excitement. Expect to hear the hottest dirty, techy, bassy tracks that keeps the booties shaking when he’s on stage, and don’t be surprised when you suddenly find yourself unable to leave the dance floor.
