ATMS Webinar Series: Lower Cross Syndrome

Lower Cross Syndrome is a term that describes a number of different types of altered postures through biomechanical changes over a period of time. These changes can contribute to a number of musculoskeletal conditions that can lead to local and distal pain, decreased range of motion and poor functional movement patterns needed on a daily basis.

Not only can Lower Cross Syndrome cause soft tissue pain and dysfunction involving the spine but it can also lead to hip, knee, foot and ankle associated soft tissue pain and dysfunction.

This three part webinar series will cover specific musculoskeletal conditions related to Lower Cross Syndrome, corrective exercises and corrective stretching will be implemented to help reverse these postural changes leading to a reduction in pain and significant increases in range of motion. Specific myofascial techniques and specific point mobilisation techniques will also be included.

By the end of this webinar series participants will be able to assess and treat the lower spine for Lower Cross Syndrome with a range of different soft tissue modalities, point mobilisation techniques, and will be able to prescribe specific exercises for long term management.
