LSA Lao New Year Show 2025

LSA is so excited to (officially) announce our biggest event of the year…Golden Blessings: A Celebration of Prosperity & Fortune!  🎉🇱🇦🍀

For this year’s Lao new year theme, our theme of gold is inspired by the concept of sok dee (ໂຊກດີ), meaning good luck. Rooted in the deep-seated belief that fortune and harmony stem from a positive attitude, spiritual energy, and blessings from spirits and Buddha, sok dee encourages others to perform good deeds as a gateway to happiness. Beyond symbolizing luck, it also fosters interpersonal connections and reflects the warm, generous spirit of the Lao people. 🙏🏼💫

We invite you all to come celebrate the New Year with us alongside amazing performances, guest speakers, and of course, enjoy delicious Lao foods! ♥️🎤 LSA is looking forward to seeing you on April 20th, from 5-9pm at the Great Hall in Coffman Memorial Union!📍
