Build confidence, meet new people and build on your skill sets with Lucas Andrews AAPC Triple Treat- Propster, Duo and Burlesque Champion for 2024.
Join Lucas Andrews and enjoy performing Burlesque-fusion skills.
1.5 hour workshops on Wednesdays at Turramurra Recreation Centre, 1000 Lower North East Road, Highbury SA 5089.
Spaces are limited. $25 per session or $90 for attendance in all 4 Workshops.
**Please note these are best suited to beginners and intermediate skill sets, noting that all sessions will be focussing on a "masculine comedic" style of dance & performance**

Week 2: 7th May 2025 - 6:30-8:00pm
Props- Taste Tester
**Note bring your own small props of choice**
1 x Short Prop orientated style choreography utilising your prop of choice
Warm up
A variety of props will be provided by Lucas to learn skills in areas such as: Boa, Chair, Lightsabers, Nunchaku
Time discussing prop suitability, the pros and cons of using props in acts and how to Improv with Props.
Week 3: 14th May 2025 - 6:30-8:00pm
Floor work and Flexibility
Learning how to crawl on stage
Rolling back and forward from the ground
Splits- How to build on flexibility
Warm Up
Basic floor rolls and slides
x 1 Basic Floor Choreography
Week 4: 21st May 2025 - 6:30-8:00pm
Basic partner work and Acro
Aikido- Martial Arts, basic "fight" choreography.
Focussing on movement with a partner and flow.
Learning communication skills to assist with timing and counts
Learning how to engage core
Understanding the importance of momentum.
Basic Acro skills (Pending skill level of those in class) - This may involve building on skills from week 3 and working to keep them in sync with partners if Acro is unsuitable.
