Hey everyone! 

We're thrilled to invite you to a special evening dedicated to supporting our dear friend Lucifer in their journey towards gender-affirming top surgery.

Lucifer, a Palestinian non-binary refugee from Jordan, has shown incredible resilience in the face of unimaginable hardships—surviving forced marriage, conversion therapy, and imprisonment simply for being true to themselves. This surgery is a vital step in their path to healing and living authentically.

Lucifer’s friends and our loving community are coming together to help make this dream a reality. We’ve planned an unforgettable night filled with live music, dancing, belly dancing, stand-up comedy, drag performances, intuitive palm readings, a silent art auction, a raffle, and a sensory chill-out space—all in celebration of love, identity, and community care.

Every dollar raised will go directly to Lucifer, ensuring they have the support they need for the surgery and related expenses.

Accessibility:

T Gen is wheelchair friendly with an accessible toilet location on the ground level. Level 2 is 18 steps across 2 flights (a break and flat landing 2.5m to the other side of the staircase). See the @tgengyms on Instagram for visuals. 

Unfortunately, it is only possible to facilitate the sensory room on Level 2 due to the layout of the venue, but everything else will be on the ground floor and therefore accessible. There are lots of quiet outdoor spaces outside of the venue & we are on a quiet road outside of general business hours. 

We encourage all folks to practise COVID safety where possible - testing before & after events, if unwell please stay home. While masking is not required to attend the event, we encourage folks to make the choices important to them and each other. Masks will be available on entry.

This event takes place on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people. We honour the sovereignty of First Nations people, their culture, and traditions, and pay respect to their Elders past and present. Always was, always will be.

Drinks will be available at a donation bar, with all profits going directly to Lucifer.
