Lunasa Festival: Shine Together

UPDATE - With regret we must announce the scaling-back of Lunasa Festival to a largely local community-orientated event, for various logistical and financial reasons. Not least, a limitation on car parking and accommodation options for visitors within the Ecovillage means we can’t welcome the numbers that we’d like to, for this event.

The programme info below has been revised (pending announcement of the full programme in due course), and a very limited number of camping tickets will remain available for visitors. The Holiday Park may also have some availability still. Day visitors will still be welcomed to the event, but we must ask please that you do not arrive by car, due to the lack of parking.

Join the Ecovillage Findhorn community to gather, grow and give thanks for sun, soil and soul ☀️

A long weekend in celebration of the Celtic festival of Lùnastal - a time of gratitude for the first harvest, of honouring the abundance of the earth and the light that nourishes us all.

Full programme of events for all ages to be announced, but for now:

Saturday daytime:

• Opening ceremony and harvest procession

• Community picnic, flea market and open mic

• ⁠⁠Gong soundbath and embodied movement (adults only)

• Yoga

Saturday evening:

• Dance party in Universal Hall

Sunday daytime:

• Taize singing

• Children's meditation

• Outdoor Bless Dance

• Laughter yoga

• Nature-based meditation and movement

Sunday evening:

• Woodland party with open fire, live music and dancing

Monday daytime:

• Shamanic journey (adults only)

• Closing ceremony

All events will be 'by donation' - full programme and recommended donations to be announced soon,

Limited camping available - see 'Get tickets' for options. Note that campsite is close to venue for Sunday evening party (curfew midnight) but will be quiet at other times. Composting toilets and cold-water shower available.
