Lunch&Learn @Launchpad
Event description
What the heck is NFT? Is there a way out of plastic pollution? Will AI eventually take over our jobs?
These abstract questions are becoming increasingly relevant to us, and yet the ‘standard’ academic environment leaves little room to explore them with justice. To remedy this gap and save you some dodgy YouTube videos, Launchpad invites you to a series of unique, interactive workshops called ‘Lunch & Learn’.
Taking your lunch break to next level, each week we will dive deep into different cutting-edge topics, where technology, sustainability, and social justice all intersect. The best bit? You’ll learn directly from industry insiders and experts who’re at the top of their fields. Challenge yourself and hone the skills of negotiating, critical thinking, problem-solving and more.
But above all, make new mates and have a blast while doing it!!
Don’t forget to bring your lunch, register attendance, and follow social measures to keep your community safe.
Please note the time change: Thursdays 12:30pm to 1:30pm. We will be starting the session at about 12:40pm and finishing by 1:25pm so you have time to get to your next class.
