Event description

Celebrate Adult Learners’ Week with Polaron Connect and MAX Solutions at our Lunch and Learn: Skills to Connect.

Join community members and organisations for an inspiring lunchtime conversation on lifelong learning, skills development, and creating opportunities that strengthen communities.

Learn about MAX Solutions’ free Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program, an Australian Government initiative funded by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, helping adults build confidence, gain foundational skills, and connect to work or further study.

What to expect:

  • Workshop on challenges in accessing education and employment

  • Guest speaker Yaser Naseri who will share his experience as a refugee ambassador/survivor and his journey through education in Australia

  • Innovative education and training solutions from MAX Solutions

  • Networking with participants from NGO, academic, government, language, and community sectors
