Amit Singh - Director, Procurement and Contracts Management
Amit Singh is an experienced procurement, commercial, strategic advisory, contracts, business transformation, risk and governance professional with over 18 years of global experience spanning across the APAC region.
He has worked on a wide range of sectors including Telecommunication, Technology, Banking, Fresh food, Energy, Public and Education. He brings a wealth of knowledge in managing large-scale procurement initiatives, streamlining operations, transforming businesses and implementing robust governance frameworks that mitigate risks and maximise business value.
Amit joined Adelaide University’s Integration Management Office (IMO) as Director, Procurement and Contracts Management in October 2024 from Optus. He was Senior Director, Procurement, Governance and Risk management at Optus responsible for overseeing multi-billion dollar external spend per annum.
As a trusted advisor and leader, Amit has a strong reputation for building and leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels and driving transformation across procurement, operations, and governance functions. He is passionate about mentoring emerging professionals in the field, imparting knowledge of best practices and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and collaboration. His goal is to continue driving impactful outcomes and developing innovative solutions for clients and organisations alike.
