Guest Speaker at Sydney Rotary Club's Lunch meeting at the Castlereagh Hotel in Sydney on Tuesday 2nd February will be Kirsty Schofield APM, Commander Investigations, Australian Federal Police.

Kirsty will speak on "Things you didn't know and wouldn't expect about the AFP."

She has 30 years operational policing experience in transnational serious and organised crime, drug investigations, intelligence, and counter terrorism.

In 2014, Kirsty was appointed SIO for Operation APPLEBY, the largest CT investigation conducted in Australia. She enhanced the capabilities of CT investigations and influenced the strategic position of the AFP with domestic and foreign partner agencies. In 2015, she was awarded ‘Most Outstanding Female Investigator’ at the Australasian Council of Women in Policing for her role in Counter Terrorism Investigations.

This meeting will also be available over Zoom, for those unable to attend in person, from 12:45pm.
