Professor Ajeet Singh is an Australian academic Psychiatrist with Healthscope Hospitals and Deakin Medical School, Melbourne, Australia. He received his medical degree, masters, & doctorate from The University of Melbourne. His doctoral & post-doctoral work focussed on blood brain barrier Pharmacogenetics, he then founded a successful spinoff company CNSDose which won funding from The University of Melbourne and Texas Medical Centre before merging with a larger diagnostics firm. Ajeet is an author of the current and past RANZCP mood disorders clinical practice guidelines. He has over 100 academic publications, whilst remaining a fulltime clinician. Prof Singh established the first regional clinical rTMS service in Australia in 2008 that continues to the present time. He is an author of the 2023 Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC) guidelines on antidepressants, and also served on the Genetics in Psychiatry taskforce for the International Society of Psychiatric Genetics. Ajeet remains committed to improving patient outcomes through scalable affordable mental health innovations.
