The St James' Lunchtime Concert on Wednesday the 16th of October at 1:15pm is Dichterliebe presented by Elias Wilson - Tenor and Stacey Yang - Piano. Tickets are $10.

Tenor Elias Wilson is a Biripi man and emerging performer of opera, chamber music and musical theatre. Elias holds an opera Masters from Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and was a 2022 scholarship recipient with Melba Opera Trust. In 2023 Elias performed two seasons with Victorian Opera, in Sweeney Todd at the Sydney Opera House, and The Visitors at Arts Centre Melbourne. As a chamber and oratorio performer, Elias is sought-after for his interpretations of the tenor solos of Handel’s Messiah and the Mozart Requiem, as well as the evangelists and cantata arias of J.S Bach.
Stacey Xiaoyu Yang is a doctoral candidate in organ performance at Eastman School of Music. Formerly an Organ Scholar at St. James' King Street and St. Paul’s College, University of Sydney. She has performed extensively in Australia and internationally, including at the Sydney Opera House, Antwerp Cathedral, and Hong Kong Cultural Centre. As a collaborative pianist, she has worked with renowned artists and served as repetiteur for Opera Australia’s "Cinderella" and "Trackworks." She performed at the Sydney Opera House's 50th Anniversary and regularly participates in opera gala recitals. Stacey is a recipient of the Melba Opera Trust Scholarship for 2023 and 2024.
