Lunchtime Diggers

Event description

As part of Sustainability Week, we invite you to join us as a lunchtime digger!

In 2018, a natural dye garden studio was established at the RMIT University Brunswick campus. The garden studio provides the opportunity for staff and students to connect with their environment, establish a sense of belonging to the land, and learn more deeply about sustainability. The primary role of the garden studio is to act as an experimental lab/new learning space for understanding usefulness and nurturing an appreciation of the natural environment, exploration of growing plants for dye and edible use as well as thinking about how garden debris can be transformed.

Join us for this fun (and hopefully sun) filled working bee where we will be breathing some much needed love back into the dye garden and it's surrounds.

Come along and get your hands dirty, no experience required!
