With Jess Kearns - Co-founder & Head of Tech and Glenn Sparrow - Co-founder Pākiki Security
Jess and Glenn will be presenting on "Compromising a business - attacks, approaches and the future of ethical hacking"
Pākiki Security are a New Zealand based IT Security Company providing advice, security consulting and penetration testing (ethical hacking). The three founders have 45 years of experience in the IT industry, with over 20 in security specifically.
This talk will cover:
- How we approach attacking systems
- The types of things we attack and how we can combine these to compromise a business
- How we approach new systems we haven't seen before
- A deeper dive into how we tackle web applications
- The future of ethical hacking
About Jess:
Jess is a founder, and Head of Tech at Pākiki Security. She has 12 years of experience in cybersecurity roles with a particular focus on ethical hacking (penetration testing). She previously ran one of the country's largest ethical hacking teams, and has spoken on a range of technical topics at all of the major NZ cybersecurity conferences.
About Glenn:
Glenn is one of the founders of Pākiki Security. A local Christchurch-based cybersecurity consultancy. Glenn has 25 years of experience in IT, with over 5 specifically within cybersecurity.
