LUX is a westside gathering for queer, trans, and sapphic identifying members of our community. LUX stands for LOVE, UNITY, eXPRESSION. Let your unique light shine!
Expect chill music, loving vibes, tarot, and delicious cocktails, mocktails, wine, and tapas from XUNTOS. Step into the intimate and elegant art deco-inspired space designed by Chef Sandra Cordero herself. Immaculate atmosphere perfect for unwinding and connecting with the beautiful people around you!
We created LUX to foster connection within our community, to feel the love, and to shine a little bit more of our radiant light into the world! We're grateful to have XUNTOS as a safe space for the lgbtq+ community to gather.
For those of you who love wine and want to learn about women in winemaking, Xuntos is offering Queer Wine Explorers, a wine tasting series led by the house sommelier. You'll taste 3 wines by the featured winemakers. Take your favorite wine home with you at the end of the night at a discounted rate! Please reserve your ticket and we will hold a spot for you for this experience. -$30 (+tax & gratuity). You will pay Xuntos on the day of the event. (Admission to LUX needs to be purchased separately). Queer Wine Explorers starts between 8:00-8:15pm.

- a note - Why we love Chef Sandra so much?!
The definition of feminine empowerment! Chef Sandra Cordero is a fierce advocate for equality as co-founder of Regarding Her, a nonprofit which supports women in the hospitality industry. She is an active member of The World Central Kitchen Chefs Corps, and stepped up to serve countless hot nutritious meals to the communities impacted by the devastating fires and other housing crises. Chef Sandra is a woman with enormous purpose and an even bigger heart. The community can count on her to show up for them when they are most in need. We absolutely adore her as well as the rest of her amazing staff!
- What does XUNTOS mean and how is it pronouced?
XUNTOS {pronounced} SHUN-tos means "TOGETHER" in Galego which is a dialect of Spanish originating in Gallecia, (Northern) Spain.
Chef Sandra opened Xuntos after the Pandemic out of the desire to create a space where people could come TOGETHER!
- Dress code?
This is LA...dress up or dress down, if it makes you feel groovy we think you look gorgeous!
- Parking?
Validated parking is available across the street at 501 Santa Monica Blvd (Enter the garage on 5th St.) (Citibank building): $7 for 3 hours. Metered street parking can be found close by or Santa Monica public lots are also available.
- Can I make a dinner reservation?
Regular dinner reservations for XUNTOS are available on opentable.com. Dinner service is from 5pm - 9pm. If you order by 9pm, you will be accommodated.
Please note: Regular dinner reservations are separate from LUX - as LUX is a private event on the BAR side of XUNTOS.
LUX guests can always order food during the event until regular kitchen closing time at 9:30pm.
- Will tickets be available at the door?
Yes! Tickets will be available for $15 at the door on the day of the event. We accept CASH or VENMO at the door.
