Lycanthrope is the behemoth outfit dwelling in the depths of NSW, Australia. Channeling the raw aggression and onslaught of traditional metalcore, this 6-piece has dominated the Australian scene since 2014. They have already brought their passionate and powerful live performance to Japan & New Zealand, with some of the most prolific international metal acts, including Devildriver, All That Remains, Northlane, Make Them Suffer, and more.
In 2022, Lycanthrope set their sights on Europe to perform at the holy land that is Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. Finishing off a massive year of achievements for the band saw them grace the stage at the Good Things Festival in Sydney, proving that the big stage is where this band belongs.
With the band showing their progression and tireless work ethic on latest singles ‘Built On Glass’ and ‘The Human Virus’, they now prepare to drop their newest addition to their notable and unique catalog of music with the EP ‘Hydra’. With the first two singles showing a fresh take on their ruthless aggressive sound, Lycanthrope don’t hold anything back and explore all of their creative ability across the EP in a release that will only continue to prove that these boys are ready to go the distance.
