IMPORTANT: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Lyrebird Brass is no longer able to perform as scheduled. This concert will now feature Sophie Marcheff and Ken Murray performing Australian works for guitar duo. All bookings remain valid and no action is required from ticketholders.

Join guitarists Sophie Marcheff and Ken Murray as they perform Australian works for guitar duo - including the music of Michael Finnissy, Christopher Sainsbury, Andrea Keller, Eve Duncan and Ken Murray himself.

Sophie Marcheff is a classically-trained fingerstyle guitarist, whose practice is based on the guitar's ability to move fluidly through a range of musical styles, and encompasses both solo and chamber music projects. Ken Murray has forged a distinctive career as a guitarist, blending elements of performance, composition, teaching, and research.

This recital is presented as part of the Hanson Dyer Hall Concert Series. All concerts in this series can also be streamed live via our website.
